MCTG is accepting applications for a part-time developer with experience in MicroSoft Visual Basic, Visual FoxPro, SQL and .NET for web-based project software development. Position is open only to individuals who will fully abide by and honor the non-compete agreement required for employment with MCTG. Work must be performed primarily at MCTG and client site and only under close direction by MCTG. MCTG announced YORK's new ESP XP RPDF (and the UPG Brand version) which features very rapid PDF report generation (about 1 second per report - same as previewing only) and full incremental page numbering. Improved PDF reporting features: Generates the PDF preview of single or multiple reports extremely fast. Scrolls from top to bottom of report smoothly and quickly. Rapidly advances to next report page. Reduced PDF file size for emailing. Ability to append other documents (specifications, letters, tech guides, etc.) and delete pages. The XP RPDF version has the same selection and rating modules as it's predecessor cast in brighter XP style screens . The new ESP can import your projects from the current ESP 2007 (directory folder ESP2003v32).

MicroComputer Task Group presented its custom software and networking capabilites at the 2005 York Chamber of Commerce Business Expo held in May at the York Fairgrounds. MCTG staff gave live demonstrations of ESP, the Equipment and Selection Program developed for YORK International. ESP enables salemen, architects and engineers in the HVACR (air- conditioning, heating and ventilating and refrigeration) industry to prepare submittals and quotations specifying equipment manufactured and sold by YORK and York's UPG OEM brands. The ESP program has been cited as the best software in its class.

MCTG is developing web-based equipment selection software for Flatplate, Inc., utilizing PHP and MySQL. In addition, MCTG is re-engineering the website for Bradley Lifting Corporation, Inc., material handling manufacturers in York, PA.

Over the past few months, MCTG have been busy creating webites for FredFest and for Panagraphics, Inc. - a one-stop sheet metal shop. FredFest is an annual summer memorial event for Jeffery Sindcich sponsered by his brother Mark, Bituminous Paving Inc.

In addition, the downloadable ARI Certified Directories software was rewritten in Visual FoxPro to expand data reporting capabilities and enhancing the application's user interface.
